December 1, 2016 –  Erin’s Hope for Friends is pleased to announce we have been selected by the Mazda Drive for Good Campaign which recognizes and rewards charitable organizations doing exceptional work in their communities. “We are pleased and proud to be selected among so many wonderful groups doing good work. We will be using this award money to fund a second location sometime in early 2017, as we have over 170 kids now and can’t serve them all” said Stacy Horst, President. Erin’s Hope for Friends operates e’s club, the only center of its kind focused on facilitating positive social interactions and developing friendships for teenagers on the High Functioning Autism Spectrum (HFAS). The club features an open and inviting space where HFAS kids will hang out so they can make meaningful connections and lasting friendships. We offer fun and Interactive activities foosball, billiards, ping-pong tables, board games, playing cards, and Xbox or PlayStation gaming consoles for two or more players all help entertain and encourage interaction. As well we have weekly planned activities that the kids can participate in.

Thank you Mazda and NBCU and congratulations to the other causes that were selected to be recognized.

This might be the most unique item in our auction! Made by a dear friend of ours from KY - this "speakeasy" shelf will be a conversation piece! What a unique gift for fathers day (hint hint). Only available on Handbid at Erin's Hope for Friends event! ...

Just finished my last piece for Erin's Hope for Friends Gala this weekend. It is a Reclaimed Wood Speakeasy Floating Shelf. That little thing I'm pointing to is a magnet used to release a nail that releases a trapdoor. Perfect spot for some KY libation and glasses.
